We recently expanded our family by three!  We adopted three sweet plants from the sweetest little shop!  They came well loved and packaged in the sweetest little box!  So Piper and I unpacked and replanted them.  Then we gave them a good watering and they are thriving! Adopt This Plant has all of the information on their website to make the adoption process go so smoothly!  The website will be having monthly adoption events because they believe that plants are living sweet friends.  I find that totally adorable and can’t wait to see what June’s adoption event has in store!

Our adopted babies are

Echeveria ‘Tippy’ – Succulent

  • Sun Requirement: Full/partial sun
  • Porous/gritty soil with adequate drainage
  • Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch (about once every 1-2 weeks)

Beautiful pink/red-tipped compact rosettes with blue/green leaves – when in bloom, will have coral flowers!

‘Spider’ Houseplant

  • Sun Requirement: Medium light (bright indirect sun!)
  • Water Requirement: Light

The spider plant is a great non-toxic houseplant that will purify your air & is SUPER easy to grow! They will do well in indoor locations with indirect sunlight. These are just babies starting out so they’re ready for a 3-4″ pot & will grow quickly – nurture them and watch them grow into whatever container or space you place them!

Fittonia ‘Nerve’ Houseplant

  • Sun Requirement: Medium light (bright indirect sun!)
  • Water Requirement: Soil likes to stay moist!

The nerve plant is a great non-toxic houseplant that will purify your air! They will do well in indoor locations with indirect sunlight. These are just babies starting out so they’re ready for a 3-4″ pot (shown in 2.5″ pot) – nurture them and watch them grow into whatever container or space you place them

You won’t have to ask Google for information about your plants because the information is on the website.  We did anyway because it totally makes my boys laugh that I ask Google Questions all day.  Thanks Google!
