Don’t toss out those boxes!

Happy Holidays, Christmas Hanukkah Kwanza Merry Everything y’all!  I hope you had a wonderful day whatever you do!  Half of my family lives in Canada where they celebrate Boxing Day on the 26th.

“Boxing Day is a centuries’ old British traditional gift-giving day once recognized across the British empire. Today Boxing Day is considered part of the Christmas season’s festivities in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.”  from the Farmer’s Almanac.

We aren’t British, Australian, Canadian, etc.  So we made up our own Boxing Day traditions.  We up-cycle our boxes into fun crafts.  My daughter and now my toddler always preferred the boxes anyhow.  We aren’t the crafty type.  So none of our box creations look Pinterest worthy.  But the following Pinterest diys are what we are attempting this year.  I’ll post our progress on Instagram Stories, so you can watch our Pinterest fails in real time.
