I grew up with my grandparents and had some pretty fabulous traditions.  On Sundays we would go to church with my grandmother and then go wash the airplane with my grandfather.  He would get the wings and high spots.  I would wash the low parts like the fuselage and the tail.   Afterwards, we would either go grab what my grandpa called hundred dollar hamburgers or my grandmother would bring us lunch at the airport.    I prefered my grandmother’s lunches.   It was one of my favorite family traditions.   My grandmother passed down quite a few delicious traditional recipes and I’m enjoying sharing them with my sweet children.
In the 1950s, the Price Family decided to share their traditional family recipe for Pimento Cheese Spread with the world.   Today it still has that sweet and tangy wonderful quality!   Price’s Pimento Cheese Spread is delightful added to any salad, soup, sandwich, baked potato and more.  It’s pretty much good on anything.  The Price*s Cheese website is full of so many wonderful recipes using Prices Original Pimento Cheese Spread and some of the other wonderful varieties like Zesty Jalepeno and Southern Style.
My favorite traditional summer childhood meal was Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Tomato Soup.   You can make this simple traditional meal amazing if you add Price*s Pimento Cheese Spread.  It’s such an easy way to spice up an old favorite!   My kids are enjoying dipping their Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwiches into this easy soup right now as I type this.
