It’s only tuesday y’all.  I’m in need of some major parenting motivation. I’m currently stuck under two sweet sleeping boys, thank god they finally fell asleep.  I cleaned the living room today as Oli destroyed the playroom and Milo ate a roll of toilet paper because I thought he was asleep.   So I’m googling parenting wisdom and word swagging my favorites.    I thought I’d send you some too!

“Allow children to be happy in their own way, for what better way will they find?” Samuel Johnson

“Remember, you don’t have to explain your family’s parenting choices to anyone.” Unknown parenting quote.

“I think it’s necessary to let kids get bored once in a while.  That’s how they learn to be creative.” Kim Raver

“Be who you needed when you were young”  Unknown Parenting Quote

“Respect your kids.  Too many adults demand respect from kids without showing any respect in return.  It doesn’t work.”  Lyle Perry

“It’s Fucking Hard”  Adele.

“Let me love you a little more before you aren’t little anymore.” Unknown Parenting Wisdom

“Raise your words, not your voice.  It is rain that grows flowers not thunder.”  Rumi

“The days are long but the years are short”  Unknown Parenting Quote

“Children spell love…. T-I-M-E.”  Dr. A. Witham.

While I have your attention, you should go check out my favorite parenting books.   With a little wisdom and coffee, we can make it to friday together.  I’m in desperate need of some wise mom blogs to add to my reading list, any recommendations?

There are some wise parenting quotes on BrainyQuote.  Which one is your favorite?

I think I will google family quotes next.  How sweet is this one?   “Family is not an important thing. It’s everything.”   Michael J. Fox

Piper’s tunic above is from Billie & Scoot.  Milo’s Pants are from Sloomb, bib from Ellamena Kids.  Oli’s pants are from Poem & Poesie.  Piper’s hat says Hello Sunshine and can be found here for a bargain.

So my fellow mom blogger friends, what parenting quotes are helping you through the week?
