Thank you Tom’s of Maine for sponsoring this post.

Tom’s of Maine toothpaste was one of the first products I tried when I began to transition to a natural clean living lifestyle. Eventually I moved to their mouthwash, then body products, baby care and each product was amazing.  I started small and swapped one product at a time. Then it came time for a big swap: deodorant.

Tom’s of Maine Long Lasting Natural Deodorants have no aluminum, no petrochemicals, no parabens and no artificial fragrances or preservatives and are clinically proven, 24-hour odor protection. They use ingredients derived entirely from nature along with hops to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, genius right?

Tom’s of Maine Long Lasting Natural Deodorants are available in Lavender, Apricot, Tea Tree, Lemongrass, Natural Powder, Unscented and many other natural scents.

Switching to a natural deodorant is a process. It’s going to take your body about a week to get used to it. You can speed this up with doing a detox of your underarms, use a quick mask of Montmorillonite clay powder and apple cider vinegar and rub under your arms before your shower during night one and two of your switch. The clay is readily available at your natural food store. I use about a tablespoon of the clay powder and a few drops of apple cider vinegar until it’s the consistency of toothpaste.
