I only hope that we don’t lose sight of one thing – that it was all started by a mouse.

Walt Disney

Waiting in line to meet Mickey and  Minnie Mouse at Disney World can sometimes take as long as an hour, if not more. While you’d rather be making the most out of your time by hitting the rides and enjoying the attractions, you know your little girl isn’t going to be happy until she gets the chance to meet Minnie.

The good news, you have a few options of where your son or daughter can find Mickey and Minnie, not just towards the entrance of the park. These are some locations at Disney World for you to keep in mind where you can find Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Where to Find Minnie

Magic Kingdom

Pete’s Silly Slideshow

At Pete’s Silly Slideshow located in Fantasyland, you’ll find Minnie looking pretty in pink. Not only will you have the chance to meet Minnie at this location, but also The Great Goofini and Astounding Donaldo. Depending on the park’s schedule, you can meet here between the hours of 10 a.m to 7:30 p.m.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood & Vine Restaurant

The Hollywood & Vine Restaurant is a character dining option that your children can meet not only Minnie but Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. For your chance to meet her, you’ll want dining reservations that you can make as much as 180 days in advance. Lunch hours are from 11:20 to 3 p.m, and dinner times to catch her are from 3:20 to 8 p.m.

Red Carpet Dreams, Commissary Lane

Another spot to find her in Hollywood Studios is at the Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane. Mickey is wearing his Sorcerer Mickey outfit while Minie is dressed in a dazzling pink dress. You can meet Minnie and Mickey from 9 a.m to 9 p.m each day (times may be subject to change).

Animal Kingdom

Adventurers Outpost, Discovery Island

Why not use one of your Fastpass+ so that you can meet Minnie and Mickey decked out in safari gear? On most days you can find Minnie at the Adventurers Outpost between the hours of 9 a.m through 7:30 p.m.

Epcot Character Spot, Future World

If you’re trying to track down Minnie in her traditional red and white polka dot dress along with her cute bow on top, at the Epcot Character Spot is where you’ll find her. Mickey and Goofy are also at this location, from around 9 a.m to 9 p.m.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Chef Mickey’s

Chef Mickey’s is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, just across the street from the Magic Kingdom. At this character dining location, you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast and brunch and run into your favorite characters. Of course, Minnie will be there, along with Mickey, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Pluto. Your kids will love the Mickey-shaped waffles.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort

Mickey’s Backyard BBQ

While you’re visiting Disney, you might be in the mood for some finger-licking BBQ at Mickey’s Backyard BBQ. You’ll find Minnie dressed in cowboy attire, along with Mickey, Goofy, Chip, and Dale. Make sure you check the schedule on select dates, where the characters usually show up around 5:30 p.m.

As you can see, there’s no way your children can’t possibly go a whole Disney trip without running into Minnie with all these great opportunities. By the end of the week, your children might have been able to meet her on a number of occasions. When you visited Disney World with your children, where did you meet Minnie and how did your children respond?

Where to Find Mickey

Magic Kingdom

Town Square Theatre

If you’re hunting down Mickey at the Magic Kingdom, the Town Square Theatre is the most popular place for you to meet him. If you’ve met him at this location in year’s past, you’ll notice that Mickey has gone quiet and does not talk like he used to. He still has a warm hug waiting for your little ones. Tinker Bell is also nearby but you’ll have to get in a separate line to meet her.

Animal Kingdom

Tusker House

At the Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom, you’ll catch Mickey dressed in his safari gear, looking similar to how he looks at the Adventurers Outpost. He’ll also be accompanied by Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. The restaurant has fantastic decor and the food is pretty good too.

Garden Grill

At the Garden Grill in Epcot, Farmer Mickey along with Pluto, Chip and Dale will pay your kids a visit, while you enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. We recommend that you get a reservation before the park opens to take advantage of not only seeing Mickey but also jumping on the first ride before the park opens.

Polynesian Resort

Another great place to meet Mickey is at the Ohana restaurant in the Polynesian Resort. You can also see Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch, but only during breakfast hours. The characters will interact with your children and there’s also fun games and hula lessons that they offer.

Our favorite places to find Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Together

Magic Kingdom

There is a 2019 new meet and greet at the Town Square Theater, and this one has a fast pass option.  Meeting the iconic duo together at the Magic Kingdom is one of our favorite memories ever with the boys.

Animal Kingdom

My boys favorite park is Animal Kingdom, they are curious little adventurers.  Meet my favorite Disney pair at Adventurers Outpost Entertainment located in Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed in their expedition costumes is so fun.

Disney Mom Blog 2020 Where to meet the characters

Seeing Mickey and Minnie Mouse should be on everyone’s bucket list while visiting Disney. These are several locations where you can meet not only Mickey and Minnie but also several other wonderful characters as well.  They have moved all over the park since my Disney World childhood visits.  Where do you remember meeting them?

I should also add, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse visits on the Disney Cruises are amazing.  You just randomly run into the characters so often on the boat.  The boys smiled the entire time.

If you’ve already visited Disney and met with Mickey, where did you find him and what was your child’s reaction?
